"I am committed to creating opportunities for young people everywhere, and I am personally invested in ensuring that Right to Dream continues to push forward." – Sir Mohamed Mansour, Chairman of Right to Dream.
These inspiring words, shared by Sir Mohamed during his recent visit to our Egypt Academy for our 25th anniversary celebrations, underscore his personal dedication to empowering young talent and sets the tone for the next 25 years of our journey.
A Global Network with Impact
Right to Dream’s story began in Ghana in 1999 with a simple but profound mission: to create opportunities for young people and make a lasting impact.
Today, that mission has transformed into a global community, spanning Ghana, Denmark, Egypt, and the USA. Our academies are home to 185 student-athletes and more than 300 young talents competing in youth teams, all supported by 20 pitches across our network. Additionally, 157 professional footballers have emerged from our academies, making their mark on the global stage.
Milestones Along the Journey
Throughout the 25-year journey, the Right to Dream community has celebrated a myriad of milestones.
We’ve watched our graduates compete on the world’s biggest stages from the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations to the Champions League and MLS.
They’ve won robotics competitions and earned scholarships to top universities, including Ivy League schools, combining their athletic talent with academic excellence.
Together, with our pro clubs FC Nordsjælland in Denmark and FC Masar in Egypt, we celebrated league titles and cup victories, and we’ve watched our clubs offer platforms for young talents to shine.
And most importantly, we watched how our alumni are giving back to their communities, paving the way for the next generation to reach their potential.
Looking Ahead: The Next 25 Years
As we look ahead, Right to Dream's commitment to excellence and expanding access to quality education and football opportunities remains unwavering.
As Sir Mohamed shared, "Part of my dream and goal in life is helping young people everywhere achieve their aspirations, whether in education or sports."
His vision emphasizes the long-term investment in both sports and education that is at the core of Right to Dream’s mission.
We envision a future where:
Even more graduates compete at the highest level of football and study at top universities worldwide.
Our clubs—including San Diego FC debuting in MLS in 2025, FC Nordsjælland in Denmark, and FC Masar in Egypt—continue to provide pathways for the next generation.
Our network grows through partnerships with major clubs and educational institutions, creating more opportunities for young talent.
Our men's team in Egypt reaches the top-tier league, and our women's team wins the African Champions League.
These are just a few of the dreams we're pursuing.
The next 25 years will be about dreaming bigger, growing stronger, and empowering more young people to shape their futures and inspire the world.
As Sir Mohamed stated: "My goal is to open the doors to dreams for all talented young people in the world, and my duty is to help them achieve their dreams."
Together, with the continued support of our partners, alumni, and global community, we are ready to make the next 25 years even more impactful.
