Right to Dream Egypt welcomes Lars Vind, a seasoned coach with a passion for holistic development, as its new Technical Director.
A Proven Track Record
A coach since his teens, with a career spanning both youth and professional levels, Vind has a proven track record of leading teams to championships and nurturing players who've gone on to top clubs.
But his experience extends beyond tactics and drills. He’s a leader who fosters a competitive yet supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
A long-time admirer of Right to Dream’s unique approach and structure, Lars shares, “I’ve always admired the structure of FCN and Right to Dream. It’s another way than nearly everybody else. I like the way they're working with a clear philosophy and strategy and that fits into my way of watching football and human beings.”
More Than Football
Lars understands that real growth happens beyond the pitch, too. He's a coach who sees the whole picture and values Right to Dream's holistic approach. “It makes my job much easier because I'm going to work with the whole person not only football-wise,” Lars says.
“It’s important that it's a 360-degree approach, with the player in in the center, and the same for the coaches, so we can develop as football players, football coaches, and human beings.”
He's committed to working with the team to create pathways for every student-athlete, ensuring they reach their full potential, whether that’s in pro football or other fields, making him a natural fit for our team.
“The most important thing for me is to help them get the best version of themselves,” he added.
Elevating the Game, Together
Lars has already hit the ground running, building on the strong foundation we've already established and working closely with coaches and staff across our teams in Egypt. He envisions a collaborative environment where everyone is encouraged to learn and grow.
“I can see there're a lot of things working right now, and I want to build on them so we can get higher and higher, both football-wise and as human beings.”
We're excited to see how Lars' expertise will further level up our program and empower the next generation of Egyptian talent.
