Egyptian side FC TUT, part of the Right to Dream community, has officially rebranded as FC Masar, signaling an important moment in the club's history and setting the stage for a future defined by renewed purpose and bold aspirations.
The rebranding was unveiled during Right to Dream's 25th anniversary celebrations, marking a significant milestone for both the club and the organization.
The event, held at the Right to Dream Egypt Academy in Badya, was attended by prominent figures including Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Egypt's Minister of Youth and Sports and Sir Mohamed Mansour, Chairman of Right to Dream.
The rebranding, according to Right to Dream Egypt CEO Mohammed Wasfy, represents a strategic step towards unifying the club's identity with the broader Right to Dream organization.
"Masar," which translates to "path" in Arabic, embodies the club's vision to provide a clear pathway for talented young players to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams.
"This change signifies our aspirations for the future and underscores the club's commitment to guiding and nurturing young players across Egypt on their journeys," Wasfy said.
The rebranding comes on the heels of a series of remarkable achievements for the club, which has already made a substantial impact in Egyptian football.
The women's team, one of the few fully professional women's teams in Africa, clinched the domestic
double, winning the Egyptian Women’s Premier League and Egypt Cup in the 2023/24 season after securing the Egypt Cup title in the 2022/23 season.
Meanwhile, the men's team has also shown promise and celebrated a few months ago promotion to Egypt’s Second Division B at the first time of asking, demonstrating their potential for future success.
FC Masar will uphold the core values that define the Right to Dream community, including a commitment to excellence, a focus on community engagement, empowering young talents, supporting women’s football, and inspiring the next generation of talent.
With a new name and a renewed identity and sense of purpose, FC Masar is poised to make a lasting impact on Egyptian football, promising an exciting journey ahead for players, fans, and the wider football community.
