25 Years of Right to Dream - Imagine What’s Next

Sir Mohamed Mansour Right to Dream Chairman

“Our vision for the next 25 years is clear: we will continue to strive for excellence in everything we do," - Sir Mohamed Mansour, Chairman of Right to Dream.

This year, we celebrate 25 years of Right to Dream, guided by this unwavering belief and commitment.

For a quarter-century, Right to Dream has been dedicated to recognizing and nurturing young talent, creating holistic environments and paving pathways to opportunity.

Our world-class programs in football training, education and character development paved the way for many young talents to achieve their full potential.

A Legacy of Excellence

As we mark this 25-year milestone, Sir Mohamed reflects on the incredible journeys of our students so far: "The achievements of our graduates, whether in the academic world and on the football pitches around the globe, stand as a testament to the power of our model and the vision of our Founder, Tom Vernon. They prove that excellence can truly be found anywhere.

“It is their journeys, their drive, their successes that inspire us to expand our reach and impact even further, empowering the next generation of leaders and role models.”

With this vision in mind, we shift our focus from celebrating our legacy to actively shaping the future. We envision the next 25 years as a time of greater impact, where we’ll nurture more young talent and empower bigger dreams.

The Next 25 Years

Sir Mohamed has outlined a powerful vision, anchored in a series of pledges that will guide Right to Dream's path forward.

Central to this vision is the unwavering commitment that every student deserves a clear pathway. "We will ensure that every current and future student has a clear pathway to an athletic, academic, or vocational future,” Sir Mohamed asserts.

This commitment extends to providing equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender or background, across our global academies.

"The same experiences will be available to all students, male and female, worldwide. We will continue to offer free scholarships that provide football training and education to all our students, regardless of their circumstances," says Sir Mohamed.

All of the RTD students will continue to benefit from our unique character development program which gives our students a sense of purpose and prepares them to be future leaders in their communities.  "Our goal is to expand and improve our pathways, ensuring our students are prepared for the world’s top schools and universities and to be future leaders."

This pursuit of excellence is at the heart of Right to Dream's mission. Sir Mohamed states, "We will always strive for excellence."

This commitment drives the organization to constantly innovate and elevate its programs, ensuring that every student receives the highest quality education and training and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

As Right to Dream’s fully-owned clubs are non-dividend, it will continue to reinvest in our model where purpose remains a cornerstone of our strategy, ensuring that the organization's growth directly benefits the young people it serves.

“We will continue to re-invest any profits from our wholly-owned clubs to provide the best possible pathways and development environment for the Right to Dream community.”

A World of Dreamers

These pledges pave the way for a future where Right to Dream's impact is even more profound. We envision a world where our graduates are not only excelling on the world's biggest stages but also making a positive impact in their communities.

By our 50th anniversary, we expect to see many more RTD graduates having played in the FIFA Men’s and Women’s World Cups, while also having at least 100 more graduates who have graduated from top universities in America.

As we enter this exciting new chapter, we invite everyone—our staff, students, partners, and supporters—to join us in shaping the future of dreams for generations to come.
