In December 2015, FC Nordsjælland (FCN), was taken over by The Pathways Group, a team of investors led by Right to Dream Founder, Tom Vernon.
Tom Vernon stated The Pathways Group’s intention of taking FCN to the next level through the development of the already first class academy, emphasizing character development, academic excellence and world class scouting and coaching; further supported by the creation of international partnerships. The Pathways Group has already signalled their intent to deliver this success through the appointment of one of Denmark’s leading manager’s, Kasper Hjulmand.
Tom Vernon, founded Right to Dream sixteen years ago, and has overseen its transition from a non-residential youth team to Africa’s leading football academy. Over 160 scholarships have been awarded to talented, young Africans to attend Right to Dream, enabling them to have the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
That scholarship opportunity is founded on Tom Vernon’s commitment to progressive, ethical and sustainable talent development in Africa – encompassing football, education and character. And it has resulted in unprecedented success for RtD students and graduates on and off the pitch, and around the world.
