Mohammed Moro is a Right to Dream graduate studying at Boston College in the USA.
A former Academy Vice-Captain, Moro joined the prestigious Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut, in 2010 following his graduation from Right to Dream.
During his time at Hotchkiss, he excelled both on the field and in his studies, winning the prestigious Ely Prize – awarded to a student who has demonstrated a combination of school spirit, strength of character, leadership abilities, and athletic skill – as well as receiving an All-American soccer selection in 2013.
Having won a scholarship to Boston College in 2014, Moro joined fellow RtD graduates, Atobra Ampadu and Isaac Normesinu, and has had an immediate impact on the men’s soccer team.
Reflecting on his journey from Right to Dream to Boston College, Moro concluded: “RtD has had an enormous impact in my life in general. It was at RtD where I learnt what it takes to be myself but at the same time knowing that not getting what you want is not the end of the world. There is always room for improvement.”
