King Osei Gyan is a First Generation graduate who is now works as an Executive Assistant at Right to Dream.
King graduated from RtD in 2004 and was awarded a scholarship to attend Dunn School in California, United States. While at Dunn, Gyan was named in the NSCAA/Adidas Boys High School All-America Team in 2005 and was awarded the State Player of the Year for the state of California in the same year.
In 2006, King joined the then English Premiership side Fulham’s youth system. Following a loan spell at Belgian club, Germinal Beerschot, and having overcome a career-threatening injury, King secured a move to Viking FK in the Norwegian Premier League. And in 2014, joined Halmstads BK in the Allsvenkan.
King achieved a significant milestone for Right to Dream, becoming the first graduate to represent Ghana at international level when he appeared for the Black Stars in a friendly fixture against Tanzania in 2008.
King announced his retirement from professional football in July 2016 and returned to Right to Dream to work as an Executive Assistant.
