Joshua Yaro

Joshua Yaro, born in Kumasi, is a former Academy Captain and represented RtD at the 2009 Manchester United Premier Cup and the 2010 Milk Cup in Northern Ireland, before winning a scholarship to Cate School in California.

Joshua secured a scholarship to Georgetown University in 2013, studying for degrees in both International Relations and Anthropology. With a 3.7 grade-point average and having been voted Big East Defensive Player of the Season in 2014-15, he has excelled on and off the pitch.

In January 2016, Joshua was the second pick in the MLS Super Draft, signing for Philadelphia Union and realising his dream of playing professional football.
